Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition. \n\n\n\tFor petitioner         : Mr.S.M.Subramaniam\n\n\tFor respondents     : Mr.B.Vijay,\n\t\t                 Government Advocate.\n\n                            -----                              \n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tOriginal Application No.9747 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench praying to direct the respondents to appoint he applicant as Junior Assistant on regular basis in the regular time scale of pay. Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2.  The applicant\/petitioner was temporarily appointed person in an emergency at the behest of the Government.  He was ousted from service and seeks appointment as a junior assistant on a regular basis.  Petitioner made a representation on 15.9.1997 to the District Collector, the first respondent.  Such representation, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, has not been disposed off so far.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. Heard Mr.B.Vijay, learned Government Advocate who stated that if the representation has not been considered so far the authority may be directed to dispose off the same on merits.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. Considering the submission made by the leaned Government Advocate,  a direction is issued to the first respondent District Collector to consider the representation as above and the petitioner is permitted to make further representation, if he so desires, within a month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the District Collector shall dispose off the same within two months thereafter.   The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
