JAGANNATH MANDA <\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=NAGAR%20KURNOOL\"><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=NAGAR%20KURNOOL\">NAGAR KURNOOL<\/a><\/a>) : The national games for year 2002 are scheduled to be held in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Several new stadiums are to be constructed and other infrastructure facilities are to be put in at an estimated cost of Rs. 150 crores. The State Government has taken in hand construction of out door and indoor stadiums and swimming pool in 16 district head quarters. <\/p>\n<p>The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh is undertaking several steps and initiatives to promote sports and games. The State Government has announced a Sports Policy which has been well received by all. In order to speed up these activities the State Government has approached philanthropists, individuals and various other institutions to donate liberally for games.
