The Delhi Police have been given a week-long custody of five youngsters who were arrested for allegedly leaking the test papers of an all-India postgraduate medical exam conducted by AIIMS. Additional chief metropolitan magistrate Amit Bansal granted the custody of the accused for a week after the police said they needed to interrogate the five to get to the bottom of the conspiracy.

“Considering the facts and circumstances, and the views of the investigating officer, further custodial interrogation is required to unearth the conspiracy. In these circumstances, all five are remanded to police custody for seven days and to be produced on January 17,” the court said in its order.
