Karnataka Lokayukta in a raid seized property worth about Rs 2,35,72,307 disproportionate to known source of income from BBMP, Bangalore Uttarahalli Sub-Division Assistant Executive Engineer S Venkatesh.
The raids were conducted on the premises belonging to Venkatesh at Koramangala and the residence of Ms Jayamma, his mother-in-law at yanagunte village in Hoskote Taluk and at a commercial complex at H S R Laayout, according to a release by Lokayukta ADGP H N Satyanaraya Rao here today.
The properties unearthed included House, Commercial building, Residential building, 3 acres agricultural land in the name of Ms Jayamma, a 40 x 60 site at Hosakote town, movable properties, including 904 gram Gold, 3,267 kg Silver, cash Rs 26,500, three cars.
