A noida court on Friday ordered that FIRs be registered against five senior police officers and 25 constables for raping and robbing a woman in Bhatta village on May 7.
The FIRs have been filed against former circle officer of Dankore Uday Veer Singh Khokhar, ex-station officers (SO) Anuj Chaudhary, Inder Kumar Badola, Rajeev Kumar, former Dankore police station beat-incharge Hemant Kishore Gautam and 25 constables of the UP Police and PAC. According to Ved Prakash Sharma, lawyer for the victim, the accused had raped the victim on May 7 in her house.
They had then left with Rs 1 lakh they looted from her house.
