Delhi court ordered framing of charges against environmentalist, RK Pachauri in sexual assault case

NEW DELHI: The Saket Court in Delhi took cognizance of a charge sheet filed against R K Pachauri, in a sexual harassment case.  The 29-year-old woman also a research scholar  lodged the complaint against  climate expert and alleged that Pachauri was trying to influence witnesses.

R K Pachauri has been summoned as an accused by the Court in a criminal case against him on charges of sexual harassment at workplace.
Earlier, the police said the charge-sheet was filed after it had retrieved several deleted emails and chats exchanged between the accused and the complainant before the final report, submitted before the Metropolitan Magistrate.

Pachauri has denied all the allegations against him. The next date of hearing of the case has been fixed for October 20.
