MUMBAI: Anti-Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra police arrested Liladhar alias Vijay alias Bhaiyya Lodhi (32) and Vasudev Suryawanshi (29) in Jalgaon, in connection with the seizure of explosives and an alleged conspiracy to carry out blasts in the state.
They were produced before Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Padalkar.
A special court remanded two accused and have been sent to ATS custody till September 17. The prosecution of the ATS said, “Both the arrested accused were conspirators in a terror activity plan, we got their link from the existing accused arrested earlier.It also needs to find out whether the accused had conducted the recce along with the five arrested in the case earlier the ATS said
Three crude bombs and other explosives, mobiles, four pen drives, and two number plates were recovered in Bhaiyya Lodhi’S house.
The ATS has, so far, arrested seven persons in connection with the seizure of explosives from various parts of the state.
