The special investigation team probing the Parui murder case submitted its charge sheet in the concerned court of the chief judicial magistrate here today.
The charge sheet was submitted in the evening and nothing was known about its content.
Sagar Ghosh father of Hriday Ghosh, a rebel TMC candidate was killed before the panchayat election in July 2013 and Trinamool Congress Birbhum district president Anubrata Mandal was one of the 41 accused in the case.
The SIT was appointed by the Calcutta High Court in February under Director General of Police to probe the murder.
