Corruption was only projected as a moral issue and not a political one.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>She added that the Gandhian leader, by lauding Narendra Modi\u2019s development model, raised a question whether the choice was between incorruptible fascists or corrupt democrats.<\/p>\n<p>Participats at the convention condemned the campaign against social activist and lawyer Prashant Bhushan and his father Shanti Bhushan.<\/p>\n<p>Arundhati Roy backed Prashant Bhushan and said: \u2018I have known Prashant for years. I would vouch for his integrity, anytime and anywhere.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>She said he represented mass movements for long and that he was facing a \u2018vicious smear campaign\u2019 was proof of the threat he posed to some people.<\/p>\n<p>Aruna Roy said the attack on Prashant and Shanti Bhushan was \u2018wrong\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Senior advocate Colin Gonsalves, Narmada Bachao Andolan leader Chitraroopa Palit, Jawaharlal Nehru University professor Kamal Mitra Chenoy and lawyer S.H.
