{"id":13354,"date":"2011-09-23T00:03:38","date_gmt":"2011-09-22T18:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=13354"},"modified":"2011-09-23T00:03:38","modified_gmt":"2011-09-22T18:33:38","slug":"death-warrant-for-killer-of-4-year-old-girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/death-warrant-for-killer-of-4-year-old-girl","title":{"rendered":"Death warrant for killer of 4 year-old-girl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamshedpur, A local court issued death warrant for a youth who was given capital punishment almost seven months ago for raping and killing a four-year-old girl from his neighbour in this industrial city last year, for his failure to file appeal in the Supreme Court within the stipulated time frame, Official Sources said today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The youth, a resident of Railway Traffic colony in Baghbera area here had abducted, raped and killed the girl by strangulating her on February 6, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Her body was found from a nearby pit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The culprit was arrested and lodged in jail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A local court awarded him with capital punishment on February 18, 2011 for the heinous act.
