The petition is an afterthought and without merit, it deserves to be dismissed,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>The judge fixed the matter for hearing Nov 28.<\/p>\n<p>Ali\u2019s complaint, filed through counsel L.K. Verma, says: \u201cHe was picked up by the accused from Khan Market here at gunpoint on the morning of Sep 25, 2008 and consequently, he could not record his statement before the panel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmar Singh started abusing the complainant (Ali) and threatened to kill him and his family. Singh then slapped the complainant.
