The application is dismissed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On Oct 24 last year, the High Court had granted bail to Amar Singh and directed him to furnish personal bond and two sureties of Rs.50 lakh each.<\/p>\n<p>He was chargesheeted in the cash for vote scam under section 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and section 120 B (Conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.<\/p>\n<p>On July 22, 2008, Bharatiya Janata Party MPs Faggan Singh Kulaste, Mahavir Bhagora and Ashok Argal waved wads of currency notes in the Lok Sabha ahead of a trust vote, alleging they were given the money to vote in favour of the Manmohan Singh government.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Delhi High Court Friday dismissed a plea of Rajya Sabha member and former Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Amar Singh seeking modification in the bail amount in the cash-for-vote case.
