Chawla granted interim bail to Prasad on a personal bond of Rs.50,000 due to the civic elections Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Virender Yadav, complainant and close friend of the victim, opposed the interim relief for the councillor.<\/p>\n<p>His counsel Nitin Ahlawat opposed the accused\u2019s application saying that Prasad may tamper with evidence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Delhi court Friday granted interim bail till April 17 to Madhav Prasad, a Bharatiya Janata Party councillor arrested for allegedly instigating his supporters to knife a party worker to death.
