Bollywood actor Simran Sood, an accused in the murder of New Delhi-based businessman Arun Kumar Tikku, was further remanded to police custody by a local court till April 23.<\/p>\n
She is also an accused in the kidnapping and murder of aspiring film producer Karan Kakkar, Simran was produced in the court this afternoon, with a large number of people waiting outside to have a glimpse of the starlet, also believed to be involved in match-fixing and hobnobbing with international cricketers after her photographs were recovered by police.<\/p>\n
According to police sources, investigation revealed that she was married to the prime accused Vijay Pqalande.<\/p>\n
earlier, Simran told police that Palande was her brother.<\/p>\n
DCP Pratap Dighavkar, who carried out her interrogation, said some startling information may soon emerge but refused to divulge more details.<\/p>\n
Prime accused, Palande tried to barter leads on underworld don Chhota Rajan, with whom he claimed to have links. He told crime branch officials that he could lead them to Rajan and his hideouts.<\/p>\n
