In the statement made under Section 313 (Power to examine accused) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), Chautala said that Hooda had implicated his family in a false case to grab power in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Chautala told Special CBI Judge Vinod Kumar that even the witnesses gave false evidence against him at the behest of Hooda and the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The state Congress in Haryana, headed by Bhupinder Singh Hooda, in order to grab power in Haryana, started unleashing false propaganda against the erstwhile INLD government and against me and my family members,&#8221; said Ajay Chautala.<\/p>\n<p>Chautala and his father are facing trial under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption Act for their alleged roles in illegal appointments of 3,206 junior basic teachers in Haryana during 1999-2000<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ajay Chautala, son of former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala, has told a Delhi court that Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had falsely implicated him and his family in a case involving illegal appointments of junior basic teachers in the state during 1999-2000.
