Jha said he had also directed the health department to probe Sharma&#8217;s credentials and look into the affairs of his private clinic-cum-hospital in Bihta, about 30 km from here. The report was sought within two months.<\/p>\n<p>Jha said the commission had also directed the New Delhi-based Medical Council of India to inquire about the qualifications and professional activities of Sharma.<\/p>\n<p>The patient, Sanjay Kumar Singh, filed a complaint with the commission that Sharma had removed his testicles under the garb of surgery for <a id=\"KonaLink0\" href=\"#\"><span style=\"color: blue\">hydrocele<\/span><\/a>when he went to him for treatment Dec 27 last year<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A private doctor who removed the testicles of a patient without his consent or knowledge has been directed by the Bihar Human Rights Commission (BHRC) to pay him compensation of Rs.1 lakh, a panel official said Thursday.
