A woman lodged a complaint before police, accusing her husband for\u00a0rape which led his arrest on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The CSP, Pardeshipura, Devendra PS Rajput, said that Reshma (name changed), a woman in her thirties was victimised by her husband in the intervening night between Friday and Saturday. The victim used to live in Nanda Nagar with her daughter.<\/p>\n
Quoting the complainant, he said that her husband Ramesh Yadav<\/strong> <\/span>\u00a0entered in the house at around 1.30 and had made relationship forcefully. In the morning, the lady reached to Pardeshipura police and lodged her complaint of rape.<\/p>\n Police booked the accused under Section 377<\/strong> <\/span>(Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine) of Indian Penal Code.<\/p>\n He further informed that Ramesh has two wives. Ramesh was married to the victim around five years ago. They lived together for years together, before getting separated.
