{"id":21519,"date":"2012-07-06T15:08:29","date_gmt":"2012-07-06T09:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=21519"},"modified":"2012-07-06T15:16:41","modified_gmt":"2012-07-06T09:46:41","slug":"businessman-in-jail-in-cheque-bouncing-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/businessman-in-jail-in-cheque-bouncing-case","title":{"rendered":"Businessman in jail for cheque bounce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #003366;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Additional Sessions Judge Madhu Jain<\/strong><\/span> ordered arrest of businessman Virender, dismissing his appeal against a magisterial court&#8217;s ruling which had sentenced him to four months in jail for cheque bounce\u00a0worth Rs 70,000 due to insufficient fund in his bank account.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>&#8220;There is no infirmity or illegality in the orders dated February 28, 2011 and March 3, 2011 passed by the metropolitan magistrate. Same is therefore, upheld and present appeal filed by the appellant (Virender) is dismissed.
