{"id":21813,"date":"2012-07-17T13:30:24","date_gmt":"2012-07-17T08:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=21813"},"modified":"2012-07-17T13:30:24","modified_gmt":"2012-07-17T08:00:24","slug":"andhra-hc-not-to-intervene-in-financial-assistance-to-ministers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/andhra-hc-not-to-intervene-in-financial-assistance-to-ministers","title":{"rendered":"Andhra HC not to intervene in financial assistance to Ministers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In case of legal aid to ministers the<span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong> AP High Court<\/strong> <\/span>denied from entertaining and adjudicating a writ petition filed challenging the State government\u2019s order to provide <span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>financial assistance to Ministers<\/strong><\/span> who have been served notices by the <span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Supreme Court<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The Supreme court had ordered notice to six ministers seeking explanation why the petition filed, seeking a direction to initiate action against them for their alleged role in issuing the controversial Government Orders connected to illegal assets case pertaining to Kadapa Member of Parliament Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, should not be entertained.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The Andhra\u00a0government issued funds to the legal battle of these ministers which was challenged through a writ petition filed by O.M. Debara.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0A division bench of the High Court comprising <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Acting Chief Justice P.C.
