{"id":21920,"date":"2012-07-20T15:11:47","date_gmt":"2012-07-20T09:41:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=21920"},"modified":"2012-07-20T15:11:47","modified_gmt":"2012-07-20T09:41:47","slug":"nbw-issued-against-ramdev-close-aide-balkrishna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/nbw-issued-against-ramdev-close-aide-balkrishna","title":{"rendered":"NBW issued against Ramdev close aide Balkrishna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>non-bailable warrant<\/strong> <\/span>was issued against <span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>yoga guru Ramdev&#8217;s aide Balkrishna<\/strong><\/span> by a special CBI court here today after he failed to appear before it in the alleged fake documents case.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>CBI<\/strong><\/span> sources said the court has issued the non-bailable warrant against Balkrishna but he has is yet to be arrested.\u00a0\u00a0They said local police might have located him but he is not in CBI custody.\u00a0\u00a0The CBI, on July 10, had filed a charge sheet in a special court here against Balkrishna in a case relating to alleged submission of alleged fake and forged documents to obtain an Indian passport.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0In its charge sheet, the CBI has also accused the then Principal of Sanskrit Mahavidayala, Khurja in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly helping Balkrishna obtain fake educational certificates.\u00a0The agency has booked the duo under IPC sections related to criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery, and imposed additional charge for the alleged violation of the <span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Passport Act<\/strong> <\/span>against Balkrishna.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">&#8220;It was alleged in the complaint that the accused had wrongfully obtained an Indian passport.
