{"id":22115,"date":"2012-07-28T18:45:07","date_gmt":"2012-07-28T13:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=22115"},"modified":"2012-07-28T18:45:17","modified_gmt":"2012-07-28T13:15:17","slug":"teacher-made-pregnant-a-minor-girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/teacher-made-pregnant-a-minor-girl","title":{"rendered":"Teacher made pregnant a minor girl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>minor girl<\/strong><\/span> has lodged a complaint with the police stating that a para-<span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>teacher<\/strong><\/span> of a primary school in Balasore district had made her pregnant, the police said on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The teacher was absconding.<\/p>\n<p>The para-teacher of the school in Muruna village under Simulia police station was a regular visitor to the victim&#8217;s house and had developed a relationship with the girl.<\/p>\n<p>When she became<span style=\"color: #800000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong> pregnant<\/strong><\/span>, the teacher promised to marry her.<\/p>\n<p>However, the teacher took her to a private nursing home at Bhadrak and terminated her pregnancy on July 20, the complaint said.<\/p>\n<p>The victim along with her mother and some other relatives lodged a complaint against the teacher.
