Council chiefs reckon the unisex toilets at Dreghorn Primary in Irvine, Ayrshire county, will make kids feel safer and encourage them to behave better, The Sun reported.<\/p>\n
They insist pupils’ privacy won’t be affected because the cubicles are closed off from floor to ceiling.<\/p>\n
However, the furious parents hit out and claim they weren’t properly consulted.<\/p>\n
A backlash erupted on Facebook just days before the school is due to open to pupils.<\/p>\n
