{"id":24082,"date":"2012-10-18T10:09:38","date_gmt":"2012-10-18T04:39:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=24082"},"modified":"2012-10-18T10:09:38","modified_gmt":"2012-10-18T04:39:38","slug":"indian-mujahideen-operatives-police-custody-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/indian-mujahideen-operatives-police-custody-extended","title":{"rendered":"Indian Mujahideen operatives&#8217; police custody extended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\">O<\/span>n Wednesday court of Delhi has been extended till October 27, the police custody of three suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) operatives allegedly involved in the Aug 1 Pune serial blasts.<\/p>\n<p>The custody has been extended by Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vidya Parkash of the three suspects by 10 days after police said they needed to confront two of them with the third accused.<\/p>\n<p>Two of them, \u00a0Asad Khan, 33, and Imran Khan, 31 \u2013 were arrested from south Delhi Sep 26, when they reportedly came to Delhi from Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The third operative, Sayed Firoz alias Hamza, 38, was arrested Oct 1 from the Nizamuddin railway station here.<\/p>\n<p>Asad \u2013 a computer expert inclined towards jehad \u2013 was the alleged recruiter, motivator and ideologue of this IM module which allegedly got Rs.3 lakh from their mentors abroad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday court of Delhi has been extended till October 27, the police custody of three suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) operatives allegedly involved in the Aug 1 Pune serial blasts.
