Atrocity cases are registered, but only five per cent reach a logical end,&#8221; According to the Verka.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that such cases are rising in the country, he lamented that such cases have risen in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>Verka also expressed disappointment over sidelining of scheduled castes for posts of secretaries in the Union government. &#8220;There are around 500 secretaries (in the Union government), but not even a single is from the scheduled castes,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed on imparting quality education to Dalits. &#8220;Quality education should be given to Dalits.
