{"id":27797,"date":"2013-04-17T12:27:22","date_gmt":"2013-04-17T06:57:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=27797"},"modified":"2013-04-17T12:27:22","modified_gmt":"2013-04-17T06:57:22","slug":"minor-girl-gangraped-in-goa-five-youths-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/minor-girl-gangraped-in-goa-five-youths-held","title":{"rendered":"Minor girl gangraped in Goa, five youths held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Goa: A 15-year-old teenage girl was allegedly gangraped in Mapusa town here.<br \/>\nFive youths have been arrested in this connection last night, after the victim lodged a complaint against them, the police mentioned.<\/p>\n<p>Vishram Borkar, Superintendent of Police told,\u00a0&#8220;The incident had taken place twenty days back, when the girl was invited by one of the accused at his house, claiming that his mother wants to speak to her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, the girl was forced to drink some beverage laced with sedative, following which she fell unconscious and was later gangraped.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint was lodged days after the incident as the school-going victim could not muster courage to tell about the incident to her parents. However, a complaint was lodged yesterday after she narrated the incident to them.<\/p>\n<p>Even after the incident, the accused had been demanding sexual favours from the girl, by threatening her to defame her socially.<\/p>\n<p>Results of the medical examination conducted on the girl are awaited, according to the police sources.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goa: A 15-year-old teenage girl was allegedly gangraped in Mapusa town here.
