Suraj, son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was arrested Monday after being booked under penal provisions for allegedly abetting Jiah’s suicide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Actor Aditya Pancholi’s son Suraj Pancholi, arrested in connection with the suicide of actress Jiah Khan, was Tuesday sent to police custody till June 13 by a court here, a lawyer said.<\/p>\n

Zameer Khan, Suraj Pancholi’s lawyer, told reporters, “We are completely supporting the police for the investigation since day one. We are completely supporting them and we have submitted Sooraj’s laptop, phone and iPad to police.”<\/p>\n

“He will be in custody till June 13. So far, chargesheet has not been filed,” he said, soon after Suraj was presented before a magistrate.<\/p>\n

Suraj, son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was arrested Monday after being booked under penal provisions for allegedly abetting Jiah’s suicide.<\/p>\n

The arrest came barely two days after Jiah Khan’s family handed over a note penned by her to police. The note was recovered by the actress’s kin three days.<\/p>\n
