She promised us that she would forward our petition to the union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde and ask him to take immediate action on our demands,&#8221; Amar Rathi, Preeti&#8217;s father, said.<\/p>\n<p>Rathi, accompanied by his wife Roshini, delivered the petition to Sheila Dixit at her residence.<\/p>\n<p>Amar Singh Rathi is supported by a campaign led by acid attack survivors called &#8216;Stop Acid Attacks&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Roshini Rathi, Preeti&#8217;s mother said: &#8220;We have been running from door to door to get justice for Preeti and sadly the CBI investigation hasn&#8217;t started yet. I request all decision makers to ensure that my daughter gets justice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In less than a week&#8217;s time, more than 33,000 people signed the petition on change.org seeking justice for Preeti Rathi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today more than 33,300 voices were delivered to the chief minister of Delhi. It&#8217;s incredible to see how thousands have come to together to support Amar Singh Rathi in putting pressure on R.R. Patil (Maharashtra home minister), &#8221; said Tamseel Hussain, a campaigner at Change.org.<\/p>\n<p>Preeti Rathi was attacked by an unidentified man while she got down from the Garib Rath Express at Bandra Terminus in Mumbai on May 2.<\/p>\n<p>Preeti had left her home in Delhi for Mumbai as she was supposed to join the Colaba Naval Hospital as a staff nurse.
