The petition, filed by social activist Nutan Thakur, sought an inquiry into the allegations made against Vadra’s land deals by Haryana Indian Administrative Service officer Ashok Khemka.
\nThe plea is likely to come up in court later this week.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Thakur also sought a probe into allegations made over the issue by activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal and lawyer Prashant Bhushan.<\/div>\n
There was a visible case of a quid pro quo between Robert Vadra and the Haryana government in the land deals and that needed a probe in detail, the petitioner said.<\/p>\n
Thakur claimed that she earlier sent a representation to the prime minister’s office Oct 9, 2012 seeking an enquiry into the matter but nothing happened.<\/p>\n
