A Delhi court on Tuesday dismissed the bail pleas of two security guards arrested in connection with the death of NRI student Anmol Sarna.<\/p>\n

Metropolitan magistrate Deepak Wason rejected the bail application of Surender Bali, 40, and Naresh Mishra, 60, saying the probe was at an initial stage and the allegations against them of beating up Sarna were also serious in nature.<\/div>\n

Bali and Mishra were working as guards at the South Park Apartments in Kalkaji in south Delhi where Sarna died.
\nThe two guards are in judicial custody till Sep 30.<\/p>\n

The court also said when the other four accused (Sarna’s friends), who have not been arrested directly for the death of Anmol, were also not granted given bail by this court, then how could the guards be granted bail.<\/p>\n

On Sep 20, the court rejected the bail pleas of Sarna’s friends — Shivang Ganbhir, Madhav Bhandari, Rhythm Girhotra and Pranil Shah — who all were partying together on the night of incident.
\nSarna, who completed his high school from New York, was to return to Canada for further studies but died after a drug party Sep 13 night organised at Shah’s flat in the apartments.<\/p>\n

Police said the party attended by Sarna lasted till midnight after which he was allegedly thrashed by the guards for creating a ruckus in the complex. Around 2 a.m., Sarna was found bleeding at the apartment complex. He died in hospital.<\/p>\n

Police have booked the two guards posted at apartment for assaulting Sarna, whereas his four friends have been booked for drug abuse.<\/p>\n

Investigators said Anmol and his friends, all in their early 20s, consumed psychedelic drug LSD in Shah’s bedroom.<\/p>\n
