Sathasivam and Justice Ranjan Gogoi, while granting bail to Lalu, noted that similarly situated other accused too have already been granted bail.<\/p>\n<p>The court noted that out of five years\u2019 jail awarded to Lalu, he has already undergone one year of the sentence in two phases, which included incarceration for 10 months during the course of trial and another two months since he was convicted and sentenced to jail.<\/p>\n<p>(Source: IANS)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a relief to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad, the Supreme Court on Friday granted him bail in a fodder scam case.
