The constables have been arrested based on the girl&#8217;s complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Satya Pal Jain, former Chandigarh MP and National Chairman of the Committee on Legal and Election Commission Issues of the BJP has urged Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde to immediately to assess the &#8220;severely deteriorating&#8221; law and order situation in the city.<\/p>\n<p>He also demanded that the probe into the gangrape case be handed to the CBI.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter to Shinde, Jain said that the culprits could be identified because the victim is alive and the local BJP councillor came to her help and brought the matter in public domain.<\/p>\n<p>Verka, who is a Congress MLA from Punjab, said he had already discussed the matter with Shinde.<\/p>\n<p>(Source:
