Court of CBI special Judge Sita Ram Prasad read out the judgement which was reserved after completion of hearing on January 9. Sharma, who is already a convict in case RC20A\/96 of fodder scam along with former Bihar Chief minister Lalu Prasad was out on bail and was taken into custody once again along with 12 others.<\/p>\n<p>Quantum of sentence would be pronounced on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Seven accused, all of them suppliers were found guilty under several sections of IPC and sentenced for a period of three years each, taking which under consideration the court allowed them to be released on bail bond on surety of Rs.10, 000 each.<\/p>\n<p>Sharma has been found guilty under section 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120 (B) of IPC alo0ng with section 13 (2) R\/W 13(1) (b) of Prevention of Corruption Act. CBI Counsel Shiv Kumar Kaka said that that the maximum quantum of sentence in the corruption case could be seven years. &#8220;Apart from the collective charges under sections of prevention of corruption act Sharma has been also accused of the similar charges in individual capacity,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from Sharma prominent among the convicts are former AHD officials Raj Deo Sharma (ex-AHD Treasury Officer), Shashi Kumar Sinha (Touring Veterinary Officer-TVO), Dr Ajit Kumar Sinha (TVO) and Bhanukar Dubey (ex-Treasury Officer). The rest convicts are fodder suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>The RC34A\/96 of the Fodder scam relates to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs.1.16 crore from Godda treasury in which the CBI primarily accused 30 people and filed charge sheet against them.
