Kamrul Kader issued the order Wednesday after hearing the review petition filed on the grounds that the charges were not framed &#8220;properly&#8221;, bdnews24.com reported.<\/p>\n<p>On March 19, Dhaka&#8217;s Special Judge Basudev Roy indicted Khaleda Zia in the graft cases.<\/p>\n<p>The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case against six people, including Khaleda and her son Tarique Rahman, in 2008 accusing them of pocketing 21 million taka (about $270,500) from funds meant for the trust, which reportedly came from a foreign bank.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011, the commission sued the BNP chief and three others for pocketing 31.5 million taka of the Zia Charitable Trust.<\/p>\n<p>(Source: IANS)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A court in Bangladesh Wednesday rejected Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia&#8217;s request to scrap her indictment in the Zia Charitable Trust and Zia Orphanage Trust graft cases.
