{"id":34320,"date":"2014-07-20T16:59:35","date_gmt":"2014-07-20T11:29:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=34320"},"modified":"2014-07-20T16:59:35","modified_gmt":"2014-07-20T11:29:35","slug":"five-family-members-sentenced-life-imprisonment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/five-family-members-sentenced-life-imprisonment","title":{"rendered":"Five family members sentenced to life imprisonment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Five members of a family have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"storyTags\" style=\"color: #0000ff !important;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/search?type=news&amp;q=Court\" target=\"_blank\">court<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0here for murdering three brothers in Tibba Danasher locality here in 2011.\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"storyTags\" style=\"color: #0000ff !important;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/search?type=news&amp;q=S+K+Sharma\" target=\"_blank\">S K Sharma<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0convicted a father and his four sons to life imprisonment.\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the judgement delivered on Saturday, the court held Bhagwan Swarup Soni, his four sons\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"storyTags\" style=\"color: #0000ff !important;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/search?type=news&amp;q=Pawan+Kumar\" target=\"_blank\">Pawan Kumar<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, Chetan, Manmohan and Shelender guilty of murdering three brothers Mohan Lal, Pradeep alias Dholu and Joginder alias Pingga.\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besides, all the accused were ordered to pay a fine of Rs 25,000 each and in case of default of payment of fine, they would further undergo imprisonment for six months, the court held.\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The court also awarded two years imprisonment to Pawan and Chetan under the Arms Act after finding them guilty in this case and imposed a fine of Rs 5000 each.
