None of the candidates in the reserved category secured the cut off mark.<\/p>\n<p>Hence, candidates who secured lesser than the cut off mark were permitted to participate in the selection process.<\/p>\n<p>During 2013, the result was published and a unified list of general category and SC\/ST candidates was published.<\/p>\n<p>This was challenged by a batch of candidates in the general category before the KAT, which found that persons included in the general category lost their opportunity and directed that the rank list be re-cast and the list of reserved candidates be published separately, which was upheld by the high court.<br \/>\n(Source: PTI)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court Friday directed the State Public Service Commission (PSC) to recast the ranklist for appointment of Sub-Inspectors published by it in 2013.
