word-spacing: 0px; float: none; display: inline !important; white-space: normal; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;\">Referring to article 50 of the constitution which says &#8220;the State shall take steps to separate the judiciary from the executive in the public services of the state&#8221;, the petitioner said the apex court had earlier held that article 50 means the government, which is the cause of more than half the litigation, cannot be permitted to have any control over the appointment of judges.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><br style=\"font: 14px\/20px arial, helvetica;
