According to police, just before the incident took place, Mali and the victim&#8217;s father were consuming liquor together at the latter&#8217;s residence at late hours.<br \/>\nHowever, when their stock of liquor finished, the victim&#8217;s father went to the market to purchase some, while Mali stayed back at his home. When the girl&#8217;s father did not return for long time, his wife also went out in search of him, while their daughter was asleep at home.
