Advocate T Suresh, whose nomination papers for the June 27 last bypoll to R K Nagar constituency were rejected, challenged the elections that gave Jayalalithaa a landslide victory and ensured her reentry into the assembly in June.<\/p>\n<p>The second petition was filed by social activist \u2018Traffic\u2019 Ramaswamy. But it could not be heard after the court was told of his ill-health.
