As the film was not given certification, the director was threatening him through phone calls, emails and social media, he alleged.<\/p>\n<p>Though he e-mailed a complaint against the director to police, he had not been provided security. Because of these threat calls, there was a threat to his life, said Shekher.<\/p>\n<p>The Public Prosecutor opposed providing police security to Shekher, saying necessary action would be taken if the actor provided a fresh petition to the crime branch.<\/p>\n<p>Justice R Subbiah directed Shekher to file a fresh complaint within a week. The crime branch would then conduct an inquiry and take necessary steps.
