Subbaiah refused to stay the summons and posted the matter for further hearing to January 5 next.<\/p>\n<p>Acting on a complaint lodged by All India Democratic Women&#8217;s Association, a case was registered and summons issued asking the two to appear before the Race Course police station in Coimbatore on December 19.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;beep song&#8221;, reportedly rendered by Simbu and music allegedly composed by Anirudh, has come in for strong objections from several women organisations over the lyrics used in it.<\/p>\n<p>AIDWA in its complaint has alleged that the song, which went viral on social media recently, was obscene and depicted women in a very bad taste.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Madras High Court today refused to stay the summons issued by police to Tamil film actor Silambarasan, popularly known as Simbu, and music director Anirudh Ravichander over a controversial song allegedly denigrating women.
