Muralidhar dismissed the petition filed by Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy seeking direction to the Election Commission to hold an inquiry against Sonia Gandhi. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is an urgent need of conducting an proper inquiry into the case. It seems that the government is trying to hide something and a message must go to the public that no one is above the law,&#8221; Swamy argued before the bench. <\/p>\n<p>The court, however, was not satisfied and said that Election Commission has analysed the case and there is no question of further inquiry. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you will start suspecting everyone then the courts won&#8217;t be able to help you out,&#8221; the bench said. <\/p>\n<p>Gandhi was awarded the Order of Leopold, the second highest civilian award of Belgium, and an honorary doctorate degree during her visit to Belgium in November, 2006. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A division bench comprising of Chief Justice Ajit Prakash Shah and Justice S.
