The couple were married in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>Tomar said that Fatima left her husband&#8217;s house few months after the marriage due to the constant torture at home.<\/p>\n<p>She has been living at her parents&#8217; house in Khujerda village, the lawyer said.<\/p>\n<p>Fatima&#8217;s appeal in the case was rejected by a lower court in 2008 over lack of evidence, following which she approached the fast track court.<\/p>\n<p>The judge directed the husband Furkan to pay Rs 1 lakh to Fatima within two months of the order.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fast track court of\u00a0Muzaffarnagar\u00a0has directed a man to pay Rs one lakh compensation to his wife in a domestic violence case.
