Salman was convicted by the trial court for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.<\/p>\n<p>The actor had appealed against his conviction and the high court allowed the appeal and acquitted Salman.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Joshi, while acquitting Salman, directed him to submit two sureties of Rs 25,000, as per section 437-A of CrPC. The sureties had to be submitted within two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The actor yesterday approached the high court once again, seeking further time to submit the sureties as certain formalities are not yet over.<\/p>\n<p>Justice A M Thipsay today permitted the actor two more weeks to complete the formalities and submit the sureties.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bombay High Court today granted two weeks additional time to actor Salman Khan to furnish sureties as directed by it while acquitting him in the 2002 hit-and-run case.
