Accordingly, appeal is dismissed,&#8221; the judge said.<\/p>\n<p>The court ordered the man to be taken in custody to serve the sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Varghese was convicted by the trial court on December 21, last year under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.<\/p>\n<p>His driving licence was also cancelled for six months by the trial court which directed him to undergo fresh driving competency test.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A drunken driver is just like a &#8220;live suicidal human bomb&#8221;, a Delhi court has observed while upholding a six-day jail sentence awarded to a man for drunken driving.
