He was in CBI custody for two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>His bail plea was rejected on February 12 by a special CBI court which observed that the charge sheet was yet to be filed and investigation in the matter was still on.<\/p>\n<p>While Mukerjea (59) is lodged in Arthur Road prison here, Indrani is in Byculla women&#8217;s jail. Others arrested in the case are Sanjeev Khanna (Indrani&#8217;s ex-husband) and her former driver Shyamvar Rai.<\/p>\n<p>The trio were chargesheeted in the case after Sheena (24), Indrani&#8217;s daughter from an earlier relationship, was allegedly strangled in a car in April 2012 and her body burnt was dumped in a forest in adjoining Raigad district.<\/p>\n<p>CBI, which took over the probe from Mumbai Police late last year, suspects that financial transactions led to the murder of Sheena.<\/p>\n<p>The murder took place in 2012 but came to light in late August last year.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CBI today filed a charge sheet in a court here against former media baron Peter Mukerjea, arrested in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.
