One Dalit was allegedly attacked brutally later.<\/p>\n<p>Though police registered a case, they did not arrest the person who allegedly assaulted the Dalit following which agitations were held, led by his father, he said.<\/p>\n<p>In this backdrop, the following day the body of Chinnaswamy was found floating in the well.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that that there was no chance of his father committing suicide, the petitioner said he suspected that someone had murdered him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chennai, \u00a0The Madras High Court today ordered a fresh postmortem of a 45-year old Dalit man who was found dead in a well under mysterious circumstances in Erode district recently.
