Wednesday sent Lalu Soren, younger brother of Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, to 14-day judicial custody in an eight-year-old hit and run case.
\nLalu Soren surrendered in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Krishna Kumar.<\/p>\n

In 2002, Bokaro Steel Plant (BSP) employee C.M.P. Gupta died after being hit by the vehicle of Lalu Soren.<\/p>\n

Gupta\u2019s family members had filed a case against Lalu Soren, who later got bail.<\/p>\n

For the last three years, he was not appearing in court. The court issued an arrest warrant against him after he failed to appear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
