{"id":4250,"date":"2010-02-11T16:16:34","date_gmt":"2010-02-11T11:16:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.in\/news\/?p=4250"},"modified":"2010-02-11T16:16:34","modified_gmt":"2010-02-11T11:16:34","slug":"court-issues-notice-to-mcd-over-ghost-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/court-issues-notice-to-mcd-over-ghost-employees","title":{"rendered":"Court issues notice to MCD over &#8216;ghost&#8217; employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Delhi High <strong>Court<\/strong> Wednesday issued notice to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the state government over an alleged scam relating to ghost employees in the civic agency.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A division bench of Chief Justice Ajit Prakash Shah and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw also issued notice to the Anti-Corruption Branch and asked them to file their reply by Feb 24.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>court<\/strong> was hearing a public interest petition filed by Jagrook Welfare Society, an NGO, through <strong>counsel<\/strong> C.S.
