She was found hanging in her residence-cum-office complex on September 18 last year.<\/p>\n<p>The appeal has been filed against the December 1, 2015 order of Justice R Subbaiah rejecting the prayer for transferring the case to CBI.<\/p>\n<p>The counter said &#8220;the investigation is being conducted on par with any other premier investigating agency of the country&#8230;The agency is conducting a fair impartial and professional investigation without any interference from any quarters.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The single judge, who perused the status report filed by CB-CID, had observed that investigation was being conducted in a proper and considered manner and there was no need to entrust the same to any other investigating agency, the government said.<\/p>\n<p>After perusing the counter, the bench directed the government to have the records available for inspection by the Court if necessary on the next hearing and adjourned the matter to the first week of June.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Opposing the plea for a CBI probe into the alleged suicide of a woman DSP, Tamil Nadu government has told the Madras High Court that the investigation in the case was being carried out by the police in a &#8220;fair and professional&#8221; manner without any interference from any quarters.
