She died during treatment.<\/p>\n<p>On a complaint by the deceased&#8217;s father Ghanshyam Goswami, a case of murder was lodged against Premshankar the next day in Keshoraipatan police station, Public Prosecutor Bhupendra Sahay Saxena said.<\/p>\n<p>In her dying declaration to the judicial magistrate, the woman also said she was set ablaze by her husband.<\/p>\n<p>During the trial, 24 witnesses were produced before the court.<\/p>\n<p>The court also ordered a compensation of Rs 1 lakh to the father of the deceased woman and directed the department concerned to ensure proper care of her son, who was one and half years old at the time of her death.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A man was awarded life sentence for killing his 25-year-old wife by setting her on fire by pouring kerosene.
